The work exists out of a constant search for fleeting moments in nature, moments that one can seek out and experience, that will never exist the same way again for any other person. I began to develop my own artistic language early, based on patterns and repetition at first, yet always adhering to the conception of each composition as a visualization of the complexities of life and a search for the sublime. These investigations are rooted in a great interest in a kind of scientific-mysticism—everything that is beyond our visual and sometimes psychological grasp.  My aim to visually depict the invisible, unattainable, and often elusive experiential-flow in life and not to abstract what we can already see. Implementing variations in patterns while using a fixed system mimics theories of what we think to know about the universe: All things are created from the same essence, and while it may seem like chaos at times, there is an order, equation, and connectivity to all things.

Andrew lives and works, currently based out of Los Angeles, California.
